Trinity Christian Academy is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable employee to join our education community who meets the following criteria:

  • Exhibits the highest Christian virtue and personal decorum, serving as a Christian role model (1 Timothy 4:12) both in and out of school (Luke 6:40)
  • Has a passion for their areas of specialty, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with students and parents

Trinity Christian Academy is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, experienced and energetic full-time Lower School Teaching Assistant for the 2024-2025 school year.

General Responsibilities

  • Assist the main teacher in the classroom
  • Responsible for classroom and calendar management on non-curriculum matters
  • Score assignments, quizzes and tests
  • Manage and maintain grade book
  • Hands on work with the students in the classroom as well as transfers across campus
  • Assist with recess and lunchroom duties
  • Demonstrate the fruits of the spirit (Gal. 5:22-23) in daily work, and interactions with students and colleagues

Education, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science is required, preferably in Elementary Education or related field
  • Previous experience working with Lower School children is strongly preferred
  • Fully in line with TCA's Christian values and Biblical Statements and Policies
  • Have a willing heart for service (Ephesians 6:7)

Hours: Full-time, 7:45-3:45 Monday-Thursday, 7:45-1:45 Friday
