We are looking for a dedicated teacher and Christ follower to teach one of our full day Kindergarten classes for the 2023-2024 school year. Our Lower School offers an environment where students learn to play, develop friendships and love learning all while engaging in opportunities to further their love and trust of Christ.
General Responsibilities
- Full-time teaching load for Kindergarten teacher
- Teach academics along with personal, social and emotional skills
- Utilize a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate the student's learning experience
- Assess students' performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills taught on a regular basis
- Ability to collaborate with a teaching team
- Stay abreast of best practices in teaching Kindergarten students
- Demonstrate a love for students and a desire to personally invest in their spiritual, emotional and social development
- Incorporate Biblical principles and character traits into daily curriculum
Required Education, Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field

Experience in teaching lower school is required

Experience in teaching Kindergarten students is strongly preferred

Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week, 10 months
Salary: Commensurate with experience
