Education: Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
Experience: One year full time experience as a Radiological Technologist
Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Uses professional and ethical judgement and critical thinking when performing their duties. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid state radiology registration as required by state law. Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. CPR certification

Physical Demands: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. May be required to help lift/transfer patient. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
