We are looking for a dedicated teacher and Christ follower to teach one of our first-grade classes.
General Responsibilities
- Full-time teaching load for First-grade Teacher
- Ability to build a good report with students
- Work cohesively and collaborate with other members of the First-grade Teaching Team
- Teach academics along with personal, social and emotional skills
- Utilize a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate the student's learning experience
- Assess student's performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills taught on a regular basis
- Stay abreast of best practices in teaching First-grade students
Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Experience in teaching lower school is required
- Experience in teaching First-grade students is strongly preferred
- Create a classroom environment that fosters growth and learning
Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements
- Normal physical demands of teaching
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization skills
