JOB SUMMARY: 

 

The role of the IT Application & Support is to ensure that communication, hardware, and software systems are maintained across the Shoppa’s Material Handling affiliates. This includes the internal networks, remote connectivity and mobile devices. Additional duties include the management and resolution of IT help desk tickets, hardware and software deployment and specific projects as required by IT management. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

  • Windows server administration including Active Directory. 

  • Microsoft 365 support. 

  • Support for the following-WAN, Azure, UCaaS, Wandera & Cisco Meraki  

  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM support and end user training  

  • Administration and Support of the IT Helpdesk utilizing Zendesk 

  • Advise on tools, best practice techniques and methodologies that enhance the organization’s infrastructure. 

  • Training Shoppa’s employees on software and procedures 

  • Ensuring all problems are communicated sufficiently and on a timely basis to all affected parties. 

  • Maintain & support hardware and software assets  

  • Support and training for ELC and Everyware 

Qualifications

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Computer/Data Science, Statistics; Master’s degree preferred 

  • Experience with MS NAV, Microsoft Dynamics, ERP, Reporting, Business Analytics 

  • Advanced MS Office skills 

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills to work in a team environment 

  • Self-motivated & analytical with ability to work in a collaborative, agile team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities

Physical Demands:   

Office employees typically sit for long periods and perform tasks that require fine motor skills, such as typing or using a mouse. They may occasionally stand, walk, or lift up to 30 pounds, like files or office supplies. The work environment is climate-controlled with moderate noise, and employees 

 

Working Conditions:  Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
