JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility for the Tire Dept. Advisor is to communicate with customers both internal and external, receive service calls, relay information to Tire Technicians, and keep precise records of services and transactions. Manage, advise, and coordinate with technicians to maximize efficiency on daily services. This opportunity represents Shoppa’s Material Handling and requires professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, great attitude, and world class customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage and assign Tire Technicians in a timely manner to perform tire service calls
- Receive all inbound customer inquiries via email and phone
- Be able to distinguish high priority calls and adjust schedule as needed
- Be aware of geographical locations to capitalize on tire service calls in targeted areas
- Quote tires based on Customers application and units
- Finalize the service call date and time with the customer
- Ensure that the necessary tires are ready for the job
- Review billing information to ensure accuracy and process completed work orders for invoicing
- Act as liaison between customers, sales team, and Outside Parts Sales Rep
- Effectively communicate and document the ongoing status of the tire service call from start to finish
- Issue PO’s to source tires through various vendors
- Monitor truck services/repairs, and report to Fleet Dept. Manager
- Work with internal Rental Dept. to determine tire wear
- Provide high level customer service for incoming tire calls/emails
- Be able to distinguish High priority tire calls and adjust scheduling when needed
- Utilize resources for tire sizes via Irmin WEB/Resources, insuring accurate tire service specs
