FRONT DESK AGENT- FT

Summary: To ensure appropriate checking in and checking out of guests and providing services to all guests in a courteous and professional manner.

Essential Functions:

1. To be thoroughly acquainted with all check-in and check-out procedures and policies.
2. Be fully acquainted with hotel Opera system to be able to assist guest with seamless check in to hotel.
3. Be fully acquainted with hotel Opera system able to assist guest with seamless check out of hotel.
4. Use the guest names whenever possible for best impressions. Greet and welcome guest, introduce self at the first opportunity. (10 – 5 Rule)
5. Upon departure ask the guest “How was their stay?” always thank them for choosing us and invite them to return soon again.
6. Be familiar with guest scenarios and how to WOW the guest.
7. Be able to/offer to assist guests with future room reservations.
8. Know the ZIP Loyalty Program.
9. Know where the VIP Book is kept.
10. Be familiar with all technical equipment as related to the Front Desk.
11. To be familiar with all hotel facilities for Dallas and Houston properties. (interchangeable)
12. To be familiar with general organization set-up.
13. To be familiar with the inter-relationship between the different departments.
14. Adhere to grooming guidelines, wear Z-pin, proper uniform standards.
15. Complete duties as requested by manager/supervisor.
16. Follow all proper Hotel safety policies and procedures and use safety equipment as needed.

1. Computer and printer, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine, facsimile machine

Working Environment:

1. Interior and on occasion exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
