HALL Family Wines is seeking an exceptional marketing professional to join our Marketing team. This individual will be a multi-skilled marketer, who assists with many facets of our marketing practice across our entire portfolio of brands. From email to social media and digital advertising this role will have ample opportunity to flex their many talents. Creative thinking, problem solving, and project management skills are key for ensuring success in this role. The position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities Include:

Email

  • Work with stakeholders within the organization to develop marketing emails to support key initiatives, such as selling wine, wine club communications, Partner communications, visitation to the Tasting Rooms, driving ticket sales for our wholesale events, etc.
  • Segment and deploy targeted emails via our email service provider.
  • Develop an understanding of email segmentation analytics and customer profiles to build mailing lists.

Digital Advertising

  • Coordinate with digital advertising agency to manage paid search and paid social campaigns including ad content, targeting, and budget.
  • Ensure the digital advertising agency executes all campaigns in alignment with the agreed upon strategy.
  • Work with digital advertising agency to provide data and commentary for reporting purposes.

Organic Social Media

  • Develop content (video, still images, and copy) for the social media calendar, at times work with other marketing team members and other departments to create content.
  • Post content to social media sites including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms.
  • Identify, recruit, and coordinate with influencers to create content aligned with key brand messages.
  • Develop and execute social contests occasionally throughout the year.

General

  • Author monthly reporting covering both organic social media efforts and paid media activities to inform marketing strategies, seasonal program effectiveness, planning, campaign execution and process improvement.
  • Track and analyze content and performance against established KPI.
  • Ensure synergies and share learnings across paid and organic social and other digital channels.
  • Monitor all content to ensure tied house compliance and brand guidelines are met.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of new digital marketing, social media and influencer trends, partners, and products to ensure we are executing the optimal program.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our consumers and their media habits and online behaviors to deliver targeted branded messaging across all media channels.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as required by management.

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • 2 years of email, social media, or digital ad experience
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Wine experience preferred but not required
  • Curious by nature, always asking why
  • Ability to analyze data and draw out conclusions and recommendations
  • Positive attitude and solution-oriented
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good at managing competing priorities and knowing when to escalate issues
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Placement on the range is dependent on experience. Candidates should not expected to be placed at the top of the range.
