Rental Specialist

Compact Construction Equipment LLC is the authorized distributor of Bobcat equipment in south, central and west Texas, with thirteen full-service branch locations. We provide equipment sales and rentals, parts and service support for customers working in construction, landscaping and agriculture. For more information log on to www.bobcatcce.com.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Answers phone calls in a timely manner and responds to walk-in customers as needed.
• Ensures cash drawer is balanced.
• Coordinates deliveries and pickups.
• Generates accurate rental contracts, updates and closes rental contracts, and makes calls to customers with overdue contracts
• Maintains professional appearance of showroom
• Communicates with Service Department and Sales Department as needed
• Maintains an organized process for tracking phone calls and managing both incoming calls and walk in customers
• Processes customer purchase orders
• Communicates with Service Department and Sales Department as needed

Desired Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma, GED or vocational training/certification
• +1 year experience in same or similar industry
• Mechanical/technical aptitude, safe work habits, a working knowledge of equipment operations.
• Data entry, telephone, customer service, and computer skills
• Must communicate professionally, respectfully and honestly at all times and communication is to be clear and language is to be profanity free while employee demeanor is to be calm and composed
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear
• Regularly exposed to extreme weather elements, including wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat, moving mechanical parts and equipment, and noise level in working environment can be moderate to high
• Background check, pre-employment drug testing and clean driving record required
• Personal appearance must be neat and clean
