OBJECTIVE:

 

This position contributes to the success of Eatzi’s by accurately and efficiently processing payroll, reviewing and maintaining new hire paperwork, and maintaining ACA hours within the HRIS.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
  2. Weekly review of hourly hiring for document compliance.
  3. Prepare 401k deferrals and upload them to 401k provider.
  4. Process uniform orders for markets and manage uniform inventory.
  5. Protects organization's value and employee’s trust by keeping information confidential.
  6. Update and maintain ACA hours within the HRIS.
  7. Communicate with co-workers, management, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

 

1.  Assists with other duties as assigned by HR Manager and CFO.

2.  Assists with annual mailing of tax documents for employees.

3.  Works on special projects for accounting.

4.  Assists HR Manager with investigations, open enrollment, and other store visits as necessary.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

 

  1. A minimum of 1 year experience of payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees and ACA management.
  2. Must be able to work independently.
  3. Must have intermediate experience with MS Excel and MS Word.
  4. The skill of being able to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English is highly desired.
  5. Must have the ability to comprehend and integrate payroll information and quickly switch between different payroll systems.
  6. Must be detail oriented and organized.
  7. Must be able to work on many different projects at one time.
  8. Experience with Paycom and Hot Schedules preferred.
