A Press Operator operates inkjet die cutter printing press equipment to create a label product which meets the customer’s specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up and operate press and run print jobs.
- Read, understand, and follow production work orders.
- Utilize daily dispatch prioritizing production order due dates.
- Produce label product which meets the quality standards.
- Maintain equipment and identify raw materials and tooling.
- Accurately report production numbers daily.
- Conduct quality checks of finished product.
- Troubleshoot production errors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Check equipment for calibration
